TYPICAL DOSAGES AND APPLICATION METHODS

PDX 105-HS and related products should be used at dosage rates of 0.02-0.08% by weight of ce-ment, or correspondingly, between 200 and 800ml per ton of cement. The exact dosage must be de-termined by optimization of mill productivity and cement properties through plant trials.

PDX 105-HS products can be sprayed onto the clinker on the conveyor belt to the ball mill, or injected directly into either ball mill compart-ments. Adequate metering pumps should be used to ensure accurate delivery of a constant flow of PDX 105-HS.

DESCRIPTION
PDX 105-HS is a novel high efficiency clinker grind-ing aid which enhances cement hydration, and de-velopment of early concrete strength.
It is suitable for use with either Portland cement or blended cements.
Its unique formulation comprises five different chemicals that combine to enhance grinding effi-ciency and cement hydration.
By changing the ratio of the components, the basic PDX 105-HS formulation can be customized to suit a wide range of specific needs.

BENEFITS

MODE OF ACTION AND BENEFITS
PDX 105-HS acts first on the attrition process to enhance the rate of production of fine particles; it increases the fluidity of the cement powder and reduces the packset.
PDX 105-HS also improves the fines separation processes, thus reducing ball mill recirculation, thereby increas-ing mill throughput. Under normal application conditions, gains in the mill production rates can exceed 10% fol-lowing the introduction of PDX 105-HS.
Because PDX 105-HS improves the overall efficiency of the grinding and separation processes, it sub-stantially reduces the grinding energy requirements.

It is suitable for use with either Portland cement or blended cements.
Its unique formulation comprises several different chemicals that combine to enhance grinding effi-ciency, cement powder fluidity and cement disper-sion in water.
By varying the ratio of the components, the PDX 106-GT formulation can be customized to suit a wide range of specific needs.
By changing the ratio of the components, the basic PDX 105-HS formulation can be customized to suit a wide range of specific needs.
